Clallam County School Retirees’ Association Awards GrantsPort Angeles, Wash. – The Clallam County School Retirees’ Association (CCSRA) has awarded its Isabel Whitfield Teacher/Classroom Enhancement Grants for the 2016-17 school year to four Port Angeles School District teachers.  

Recipients are: 

Rebecca Gundersen, Hamilton Elementary, fifth grade
Revolutionary War Musical Play, $120

Kathryn Hartman, Roosevelt Elementary, fourth grade
Spelling City, $240

Krista Winn, Hamilton Elementary, physical education
Awesome Upper Body, $455

Alan Caverly, Port Angeles High School
Functional Living Skills, $45  

“We are confident that Isabel Whitfield would be amazed at what our current teachers and students are accomplishing with our ever changing world,” Lora Brabant, CCSRA president, said. “Clallam County School Retirees’ Association continues to support our retirees and our current teachers and staff as we enhance our community with teaching, serving and educating those around us.”
